The objective of the Canadian Heritage Rivers System (CHRS), established by the federal, provincial and territorial Ministers responsible for parks, is rather to “foster conservation” and to “encourage public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of their cultural and natural heritage” according to a posting from Irene Mathyssen's office. She is the London MP who came to give her support to dump opponents. You would think that Dave MacKenzie would have enough even just in this wording to be advocating for his constituents against the dump.

Charlie Angus, Irene Mathyssen, Mayors Mayberry and Comiskey and George Henry of the Chippewas of the Thames are all on this piece of video recorded and engineered by Derek Verveer of the Oxford Coalition for Social Justice. Have a look:

The review of the Aggregate Resources Act and the Provincial Policy Statement are not responsive to the public's desire to make comments and ignore human health almost entirely. You can comment by sending responses to minister.moe@ontario.ca or minister.mah@ontario.ca. The Coalition has almost finished their responses to these which will be posted on our facebook page shortly.
